[After being in the apartment for awhile, Lantis has decided to come and take care of the animals for a bit. They're less likely to try to kiss him it seems.

However, he's still finding himself caught under the mistletoe more often than he wishes. So now, for all the world to see, there is a little girl tugging on his pants leg. Blinking he kneels down to see what she wants.

She promptly kisses him before running off to look at the animals.

Lantis...really has no idea what to do now. He'll just...stare.]

Eagle, I'm leaving the shop and staying away from it today.

...I've turned four candies into bread.

[There's the longest pause in history before Lantis finally speaks.]

I hope it won't be too much to ask but I was hoping someone had ideas for gifts that you could give to someone you care about. Someone you are...dating. [It's such a strange word to him.]

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to get something special.

[Lantis looks troubled when he turns on his device to make this recording. But it needs to be done.]

To those of you who know Eagle, you should be aware that he doesn't remember you currently. It looks like he made a trade with the Deities.

[He frowns a little more.]

I'm...not sure how long it will last.

[End of recording]

[Action for the apartment]

[Lantis ends the recording and just looks out the window. He's not surprised that Eagle did this but...it doesn't make it easier.

Sighing, he goes out to the other room where Eagle is.]

[ooc: So Lantis is just warning Eagle's friends that Eagle won't remember them. He's not aware that this will last for a month then be done with. That's all!]

[He is hanging out on the couch since he's decided to expand his horizons and he frowns at what he sees on the Network. Not to mention the voices outside.]

Eagle...we're staying in, right?

[He's so not ready to face people.]

[There's some rustling about and a nurse trying to calmly tell someone to lay back down.]

I just want to leave...

[She tells him he can't yet because he's not healed.]

I want to go home.

[There's a clatter as the device falls and turns off.]

[ooc: Action at the hospital and audio for everyone else. Backdated to yesterday because I'm a derp and forgot.]

[The device is sitting on the bench next to Lantis who seems to be leaning against the wall of the candy shop. He is fidgeting like he's nervous about something and is frowning like it too.

Clearly something is on his mind.

He glances inside the shop then quickly looks away as if hoping he wasn't noticed. Smoothing his hands over his clothes (he's not wearing his armor today), he takes a deep breath...

And shakes his head.

Noticing the device his on, his blue eyes go wide for a moment before he quickly grabs it to shut it off.]

[ooc: Lantis is getting ready to head into the shop to talk to Eagle about something. Talk to him this way or run into him on the street before he manages to get inside. Either way is cool!]

[In walks Lantis into the apartment. He's covered in snow and he's really trying not to drip on anything too much as he removes his armor.

But he can't stop his hair from dripping cold water all over him as the snow there melts.]

Eagle...it's still snowing. We should stay in.

[Because you know...he doesn't think about how Eagle just has to look out a window to notice that.]

[There's a long moment of silence before Lantis speaks.]

...Guru Clef and Pharle Presea are gone.

[And that's all he says before he just...hangs up.]

[The face on the screen looks fuzzy and has big dark eyes. Almost like it's a monkey. Oh wait. That is a monkey. It pokes at the picture before chattering at the screen a bit.

Right before the device gets taken from it anyway.]

That's not a toy.

[Lantis appears on the screen and suddenly it's obvious that he's in the more "normal" part of the zoo. In the enclosure for the animals.]

Oh...It's on. [He blinks before turning it off again.]

[Lantis looks out at everyone and sighs.]

Again?

[Sorry, visitors. That's all he has to say.]

[There's a long period of silence before Lantis actually speaks.]

I apologize for this weekend. I hope there weren't too many inconveniences.

[He'll just...be hanging up now.]

[Here's a familiar sight coming from Lantis' device. It's a tree.

What's not so familiar is the little boy looking at the screen.]

...Where am I? I can't find mother and father...or Zagato.

[It's a beautiful day so where is Lantis? That's right. He's up a tree...sleeping. Or at least resting. The breeze blows and a bird lands on his shoulder. It knows he won't harm it.

Blue eyes open and he gently pets the little creature who starts to sing for him.

Noticing the device is on, he calmly turns it off.]

[Lantis can be seen sleeping in a tree when suddenly a bird lands on his shoulder. Blinking awake, he looks at the green bird, Fuu's bird, a moment before looking down at the ground. Jumping down, he picks up a cat, Clef's cat, that's there.

And looks at the dog, Hikaru's dog, that is also there.

And stares because...what?

Seeing the device is on, he takes advantage of it.]

...Guru Clef...Do these belong at your place?

[As he speaks the cat curls up in his arms...and nuzzles him, purring loudly. He looks down in confusion before turning off his device.]

[Lantis...is completely baffled. And hiding currently.]

Why do people keep trying to pinch me today?

[For the longest time this face stares at the screen. He doesn't look really...thrilled.

Lantis has just one thing to say.]

...Again?

[His voice seems a little flustered currently. He knows it's late at night but...]

I'll be in the forests.

...If people need me.

[Lantis is out and about in the City. He stops to take a look in a shop window before looking back at his device.]

Eagle, I'll be home early tonight. Be ready so I can take you out to dinner.

[A little nod and he ends the recording.]
