[A very pleased Eagle arrived at the gate some time later. ]

[And there's Lantis. Surprise of all surprises, he's out and about and not wearing his armor. He looks over at Eagle and pushes away from the wall to come over to him.]

[Oh well.. armor like that might scare the animals, hm? Still it is a rare sight that has to be enjoyed a little before walking over to greet Lantis personally. ]

[Eagle chuckles a little as he follows along. ]

There are monkeys...

Monkeys?

They have a very usual name!

[Follows Lantis to these ‘monkey’ creatures then. ]

[He nods then brings Eagle over to where the primates are currently swinging around the enclosure and playing with each other.]

[Eagle watches as a mother holding her tiny baby close dodges out of the way of a pair of young juvenile monkeys who are too busy tearing around the enclosure to notice that they have nearby run their compatriots over. ]

They’re cute! [Smiles at Lantis. ] These are something from Earth?

They are. The one with the baby is Momo. She just had him.

[He looks down at Eagle and pauses a moment before offering:] We could go in so you could have a closer look.

[It was a tempting offer. ]

They are friendly enough not to mind something like that?

I wouldn't have offered if they weren't.

No… of course you wouldn’t have. Lead the way then?

[A few of the monkeys bob up and down in front of the door. They seem to already know what is going on… or maybe they just suspect snacks are coming. ]

[Lantis leads the way in and steps inside, just in time for one of them to climb onto his shoulder. With the tail wrapped around his neck he looks over at Eagle as he closes the door.]

They're friendly.

[When Eagle enters he is similarly greeted by one of the curious monkeys… who then grabs at the jewel on Eagle’s headband and tries to make off with it. After several unsuccessful tugs the creature gives up and contents itself with just making faces at the reflection if itself in the crystal. ]

Yes… friendly…

[Some one isn’t sure about this… well, there is a monkey shooting fanged expressions at his forehead. ]

They get pretty excited over small things don’t they?

It's something shiny. A lot of animals are attracted to things like that.

[He reaches into a bag he's carrying and the monkey bothering Eagle is distracted. Jumping onto Lantis' other should, it waits until he gives it some dried fruit.]

You didn’t warn me about that.

[Eagle teased a bit. Not that it mattered, apparently food was far more interesting to monkey’s than shiny objects anyway.
Hmm a monkey on each shoulder, oh! And one dangling by its tail! This third monkey drops down in front of Lantis hoping it too might end up with some yummy fruit. ]

[Lantis offers it some fruit too before holding some out to Eagle to see if he would like to try to feed them as well.]

[The fruit is accepted, instantly making Eagle a target for attention as well. One of the younger ones comes just close enough to stare at the food, then at Eagle, then at the food… before taking the offered piece and running off with it. ]

Is there any kind of animal you don’t get along with?

[What kind of creature could possibly find Lantis offensive anyway!? A monster maybe… ]

No wonder you decided to take a job here. You get to play with the animals you like all day long.

Someone needs to take care of them. They need it as much as the people do.

Many people don’t consider things like that.

[Eagle knew he didn’t. It was difficult enough just trying to keep all of the people out of trouble! ]

It just proves how kind you are to worry about the animals too.
