I hope it won't be too much to ask but I was hoping someone had ideas for gifts that you could give to someone you care about. Someone you are...dating. [It's such a strange word to him.]

Action for Eagle

[After making the entry and ensuring that it's locked away from Eagle, Lantis goes out into the other room. He doesn't really want Eagle to get too suspicious about him staying in the other room alone for awhile.

So he goes to him to prevent this.]

[Aaaaaand...this is Lantis getting up real fast to try to get away.]

[ Oh… Hey! You can’t do that! This would be Eagle getting up to block your escape route. ]

[Wait. That wasn't supposed to happen! Going to retreat the opposite direction now!]

[ Erm… it is easy enough to walk around the sofa and block that pathway too you know? ]

You should just surrender Lantis. It would be a lot easier.

If I did that then I wouldn’t get to know what that post was.

[Blitz attack! Trying to close the gap between them as fast as possible. ]

[Dodge! With a side step to get around Eagle.]

[Counter! Attempted tripping~! On the ground Lantis couldn’t escape. ]

[Well...he does trip...but he stumbles instead. Falling would be bad!]

[ Not the best result… but maybe he could at least reach out to grab a hand? ]

[He's going to...um...try to get to the bedroom.]

[Oh that sounds like a fine idea really. How could Lantis possibly escape there?

[That's not how that was supposed to work. The look on his face says so. But he'll be getting his device out to go hide it.]

[Can you hide something when some one else is watching your every move? It would be a magic trick for certain! ]

I was actually hoping you would say that… it makes me feel a lot less guilty about what I am about to do.

[And shove, right towards a safe landing on the bed. Anything to make a grab at that communicator possible.]

[He flails a bit before landing on the bed. Then he realizes what happened and tries to get the device out of reach.]

[Lantis's arms are quickly grabbed before they could push the device too far out of reach…

Of course holding Lantis down like this did mean a grab at the communicator was now entirely impossible. Trying to would free Lantis which would allow him to move the device fully out of a catch able range.

… hhmm... this might not have been entirely well planned... ]
