[There's the longest pause in history before Lantis finally speaks.]

I hope it won't be too much to ask but I was hoping someone had ideas for gifts that you could give to someone you care about. Someone you are...dating. [It's such a strange word to him.]

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to get something special.

Action for Eagle

[After making the entry and ensuring that it's locked away from Eagle, Lantis goes out into the other room. He doesn't really want Eagle to get too suspicious about him staying in the other room alone for awhile.

So he goes to him to prevent this.]

[Aren’t you sweet? Eagle does take that action to mean its safe to open his eyes again and also to be take hold of those hands for a loving squeeze. ]

You aren't allowed to go looking for it later when I'm not watching.

And what if I find it accidentally?

You'd go looking then claim it was an accident.

No, I won’t.

[Time for some serious. ]

I trust you… if you really don’t want me to know what that was I will respect your wishes.

I promise you'll find out what is going on soon.

[That is a satisfying enough answer, even if he is still curious. ]

Come out to the other room with me?

[He would follow you anywhere~ ]

[Eagle reluctantly lets go of Lantis’s hands so he can actually start heading in the direction of the other room. ]

[Lantis comes out with him.]

Do you want any tea?

[That is like asking if he would like to breath today, of course he wants tea! ]

Mm! And I think I have a few teacakes in there that I bought the other day that we haven’t tried yet. We could have a few of those too.

I can go make the tea if you would like to get the teacakes.

Teamwork, that sounds nice.

[He will start with the plates then. Finding some big enough to hold a teacup but small enough not to be a burden. ]

[And he'll go to make some tea. One of the flavored ones they have in the cupboard.]

[It does take less time to pull two teacakes out and set them on the small plates with a fork to eat them with than it does for the tea to finish. So, Eagle goes ahead to set these plates on the table as well. ]

[He gets the water poured to start the tea then brings it to the table so it can steep there.]

[One more thing before Lantis himself gets settled at the table, moving that small kitten out of his chair and setting him on the floor. There, now your chair is safe!]

Crown seems to like it there.

[Pico in the meantime waits until Lantis is sitting before jumping up and settling there. Move her. She dares you.]

[Wouldn’t dare! Even Eagle admits that looks like a comfortable place to sit.

Of course he moves over to the other chair and steals it from Crown before he can hop up and take over. Ha, take that kitten! ]

They did settle in fast. I was a little worried they might have trouble finding out where things were.

[Most notably that litter box. Its very important that they know where that is. ]

Animals can adapt quickly. Especially when they're young.

That is very lucky.

[He settles in then to enjoy the tea, once is has finished brewing, with Lantis and the kittens. ]

It's why people enjoy them as pets.
